RUTLAND — A 23-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Rutland yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic assault at the Cortina Inn at around 5:00 p.m.
Police allege that Scott Furness, of Rutland, physically harmed a household member.
Furness was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland barracks for processing.
He was released on a criminal citation to answer the charge today.
