CORNWALL — A 20-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault following an incident in Cornwall yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic disturbance at a home on South Bingham Street at around 11:15 p.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Michael Kilbreth, of Cornwall, had assaulted a family member, causing bodily injury.
Kilbreth was taken into custody and transported to the Middlebury Police Department for processing.
He was later released with a citation to appear in court at a later date.
He was also issued active conditions of release.
State police were assisted by officers of the Middlebury Police Department at the scene.
