STARKSBORO — A 32-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault following an incident in Starksboro on Monday.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Brookside Drive at around 10:00 p.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Kareem Louard, of Starksboro, assaulted a household member, causing bodily injury.
Louard was taken into custody and transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.
He was later released with a citation to appear in court at a later date.
He was also issued active conditions of release.
