HIGHGATE — A 46-year-old man was charged after a crash in Highgate last week.
On February 11, authorities were notified of a single-vehicle crash on Shipyard Road at around 9:55 p.m.
According to the report, a 2015 Ford F250, driven by David Rouse, of Highgate, drove off at a high rate of speed.
He crossed Shipyard Road, went off the road, and hit a tree.
Rouse was issued a citation for negligent operation.
