DUI crash in South Burlington

SOUTH BURLINGTON — A 40-year-old woman from Bolton was arrested for DUI following an incident in South Burlington yesterday.

Authorities were notified of a vehicle seen driving erratically before going off the road and into the snow on the I-189 eastbound on-ramp at around 3:40 p.m.

Police say they located the vehicle and identified the driver as Chantal Ferry.

Troopers conducted an investigation that concluded with Ferry being placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.

She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Williston State Police barracks for processing.

At the conclusion of processing Ferry was released into the custody of a sober adult with a criminal citation to appear in court at a later date and time to answer the charge.
