MONDAY 01-31-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 8 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Child Safety Seat Inspection – Middlebury – Provided a car seat to a family that was in need of a new seat and made sure it was installed correctly. If you would like to have your car seat inspected to make sure it’s installed safely, please call our office to schedule an appointment.

TUESDAY 02-01-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 9 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Tuesday is our fingerprinting day! If you need your fingerprints taken for any purpose, please call our office at (802) 388-2981 for further details and to schedule an appointment.

WEDNESDAY 02-02-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 11 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Overweight Violation – Ferrisburgh – While on patrol on Monkton Rd, the Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement deputy observed a Tractor Trailer operating on a weight restricted road. The TT unit was stopped and did not have a permit to be operating on that road. The vehicle was weighed, and it was 8,000 lbs. overweight. A ticket was issued for the violation.
  • Public Assist – Orwell – Officers stood by at a residence while individuals retrieved belongings after being removed from the house due to a No Stalking Order.
  • Agency Assist – Orwell – A deputy served an individual with a No Stalking Order that had been issued by the Court earlier in the day.

THURSDAY 02-03-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 7 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Public Assist – Bristol – A deputy assisted an operator who had locked their keys in the car by using a lock out kit to unlock the door of the vehicle.

FRIDAY 02-04-22

  • Conducted Patrols in 2 towns. Due to the snow, deputies were not out to patrol proactively attempting to stop vehicles.

SATURDAY 02-05-22

  • Public Assist – Orwell – An officer stood by at a residence while individuals retrieved belongings after being removed from the house due to a No Stalking Order.

MONDAY – FRIDAY

  • Provided security at the Mahady Courthouse in Middlebury. This includes screening visitors as they enter the Courthouse and security in the Courtroom during hearings.
  • Several deputies served paperwork for Civil Process.
