WALLINGFORD — A 55-year-old woman from New Jersey was arrested for DUI following an incident in Wallingford on Friday.
Police say several concerned citizens called about a possible intoxicated motorist on Homer Stone Road at around 4:00 p.m.
Police identified the driver as Maryellen Cushing, of Red Barn, New Jersey.
Police say Cushing displayed signs of impairment and was screened for DUI.
Cushing was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland State Police barracks for processing.
She was released with a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in court on February 14 to answer the charges.
