WAITSFIELD — A 50-year-old woman from Fayston was injured during a single-vehicle crash in Waitsfield yesterday.
The crash took place on Center Fayston Road at around 5:55 p.m.
The driver was identified as Gretchen Frank.
Frank was headed north when she lost control of her vehicle.
Police say Frank was unable to gain control of the vehicle prior to it striking a tree just off the northbound travel lane.
She was transported to Central Vermont Hospital to be treated for injuries.
Members of the Waitsfield Fire Department and EMS were on scene and assisted with traffic control.
