VSP looking for driver after road rage, sideswipe incident in Georgia

GEORGIA — Police are looking for a driver who was involved in an incident in Georgia on Wednesday.

Authorities say they were notified of a road rage type incident where a vehicle sideswiped another vehicle south on Interstate 89 at around 6:50 a.m.

Casey Elwood, 36, of Sheldon, contacted police and described the other vehicle as a silver truck with a cap.

Police say the vehicle would likely have sustained damage to the left rear quarter panel area after making contact.

Police say the suspect exited the interstate at exit 18 and then proceeded south on Route 7.
