ALBURGH — A 39-year-old man from St. Albans was charged following an incident in Alburgh on Sunday.
Authorities were notified of a possible violation of an abuse prevention order on Alburgh Springs Road at around 5:15 p.m.
Police allege that Timothy Parenteau contacted someone who had an abuse prevention order against him.
Parenteau was charged with a violation of an abuse prevention order.
He was issued a citation to appear in court on February 3.
