UNDERHILL — A 40-year-old man from Jeffersonville was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in Underhill yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle operating erratically in the area of Vermont Route 15 and Park Street.
The vehicle sideswiped another vehicle and continued driving east Vermont Route 15 at around 6:10 p.m.
Police say the vehicle was eventually stopped by witnesses of the collision and the driver was identified as Bradley Gildersleeve.
While speaking with Gildersleeve, police say they detected several signs of impairment and ultimately placed him under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol.
After processing, Gildersleeve was released on citation to appear in court on April 28 to answer to the charges of DUI #1, negligent operation, and leaving the scene of an accident.
