ARLINGTON — A 71-year-old woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Arlington yesterday.

The crash took place on Vermont Route 7A near the intersection of Tory Lane, at around 3:25 p.m.

The vehicle was down in the embankment with significant damage when police arrived.

The driver, identified as Brigitte Bignon, of Arlington, was headed south before the vehicle went off the road.

Bignon’s vehicle had gone through some small trees before colliding with a large tree in the embankment, which completely stopped the vehicle.
