BENSON — A 59-year-old woman from Massachusetts was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Benson yesterday.
The crash took place on Vermont Route 22A at around 7:25 a.m.
Police say they located the vehicle in the woods off the east side of the road when they arrived.
The vehicle had come to rest on the driver’s side.
The driver was identified as Mary Paris.
Paris had been provided a ride to G&L Store by a passerby prior to police arrival.
Police say Paris was not injured and was wearing her seatbelt.
According to the report, her vehicle left the road drove down the embankment, struck multiple small trees, before rolling.
