FRANKLIN — A 20-year-old man from Sheldon was arrested following an investigation that started in Franklin back in August of 2021.
On August 8, authorities were notified of a motor vehicle theft from Dandurand Road at around 6:30 a.m.
Andrew Godin, 40, of Franklin, told police that his 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited was taken from his property.
Police say they were later notified of a crash at Barnum Road by Messier Road with the same vehicle that was reported stolen.
Following an investigation, police arrested Tyler Dragon.
They say his DNA was found on the airbag of the crashed vehicle.
He was cited to appear in court on February 1 to answer to the charge of aggravated operation without owner’s consent.
