DORSET — A 35-year-old woman from Bromley was injured during a single-vehicle crash in Dorset on Tuesday.
The crash took place on US Route 7 near Emerald Lake State Park, at around 7:00 a.m.
The vehicle was spotted off the roadway rolled on its roof with significant damage.
There was miscellaneous debris scattered in the southbound and northbound lanes on U.S. Route 7 causing it to be temporarily shut down.
According to the report, Christina Dunlap, 35, was headed south before she lost control of the vehicle.
Dunlap told police say that the passenger side of the vehicle was driving in the snow-covered road, which caused her to lose control.
The vehicle slid across the center line into the northbound lane of travel and went off the roadway down into the embankment.
The vehicle then rolled approximately two times before stopping.
Dunlap suffered minor neck pain and was transported to Southern Vermont Medical Center by Northshire Rescue Squad.
State Police were assisted by Dorset Fire Department, Northshire Rescue Squad, and Paul’s Towing Service.
