CALAIS — A 42-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Calais on Tuesday.
Authorities say they were notified of an altercation at a home on Vermont Route 14 at around 7:40 a.m.
Following an investigation, David Mencia, of Calais, was arrested for a violation of domestic assault and interference with access to emergency services.
Mencia was transported to the Washington County Superior Court for arraignment.
He was later released with conditions.
