JEFFERSONVILLE — A 44-year-old man from Burlington was cited following an incident in Jeffersonville earlier this month.
On January 5, authorities were notified that John Van Hazinga violated the conditions and an abuse prevention order that was in place.
Following an investigation, police allege that Van Hazinga did violate both the conditions and the order by visiting the victim’s place of employment on January 3.
Van Hazinga was cited in court on February 2 to answer the charges of violation of the abuse prevention order, and violation of conditions of release.
