BURKE — Police say they are still looking to identify the driver of a vehicle that crashed in Burke on Friday.
On January 7, Deputy Deos with the Caledonia County Sheriff’s Department responded to a single-vehicle crash on Newark Street at around 12:30 p.m.
Police say the operator had fled the scene by the time they arrived.
The vehicle was a black 2007 Buick Rendezvous with New Hampshire plates.
The Buick had come to rest on its driver’s side.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police say.
