- Conducted Patrols in 5 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
- Community Outreach – Middlebury – Provided space for a supervised visit for Women Safe.
TUESDAY 01-04-22
- Conducted Patrols in 4 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
- VIN Verification – Middlebury – Provided a VIN verification for a resident. We provide this service for free to any Addison County resident, so please call us at (802) 388-2981 to have a deputy come by if you need this done.
- Tuesday is our fingerprinting day! If you need your fingerprints taken for any purpose, please call our office at (802) 388-2981 for further details and to schedule an appointment.
- Public Assist – Middlebury – A deputy assisted an individual who had locked their keys in their car by using a Lock Out kit to successfully get the door open.
WEDNESDAY 01-05-22
- Conducted Patrols in 7 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
- Overweight Violation – Ferrisburgh – While on patrol on Monkton Rd, the Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement deputy observed a Tractor Trailer operating on a weight restricted road. The TT unit was stopped and did not have a permit to be operating on that road. The vehicle was weighed, and it was just over 52,000 lbs overweight. A ticket was issued for the violation.
THURSDAY 01-06-22
- Conducted Patrols in 5 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
- Overweight Violation – Monkton – While on patrol on Monkton Rd, the Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement deputy observed a Tractor Trailer operating on a weight restricted road. The TT unit was stopped and did not have a permit to be operating on that road. The vehicle was weighed, and it was almost 20,000 lbs overweight. A ticket was issued for the violation.
FRIDAY 01-07-22
- Conducted Patrols in 4 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
MONDAY – FRIDAY
- Provided security at the Mahady Courthouse in Middlebury. This includes screening visitors as they enter the Courthouse and security in the Courtroom during hearings.
- The Retired Sheriff, Don Keeler, served paperwork for Civil Process.
