ENOSBURG — A 27-year-old man from St. Albans was arrested on multiple charges in Enosburg yesterday.
Authorities were notified of a domestic disturbance at a home on Kennison Drive at around 11:55 a.m.
Police say the suspect, identified as Sean Depatie, had left the area in his work vehicle when they arrived.
Following an investigation, police allege that Depatie was the aggressor in a domestic assault against a household/family member in which he violated conditions of release and took her phone in an attempt to prevent her from contacting law enforcement.
These crimes were committed in the presence of children, police say.
Police located and stopped Depatie’s vehicle, at which time he was taken into custody without incident.
He was transported to the St. Albans barracks for processing.
At the conclusion of this, he was lodged at the Northwest State Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow to answer the charges of domestic assault, violation of conditions of release, and interference with access to emergency services.
