WASHINGTON — A 49-year-old man was arrested on a warrant following an incident in Washington on Tuesday.
Police say they received a tip on Robert Benson’s whereabouts and traveled to Washington and arrested him on West Corinth Road at around 7:10 a.m.
He was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for grand larceny.
He was transported to Barre City Police Department and later transported to court and released.
Since September 01, 2021, Washington County State Transport Deputies say they have apprehended 15 persons on active arrest warrants throughout the county.
Police say they are actively seeking numerous persons on active warrants in the county.
