CAMBRIDGE — A Vermont state trooper was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Cambridge on Sunday.
Trooper Omar Bulle was traveling on Route 15 at around 5:30 p.m. while responding to what VSP list as a “high-priority incident.”
Trooper’s Bulle’s lights and siren were activated, and roads at the time were snow and slush-covered.
While attempting to go around a vehicle in front of him, his cruiser began sliding sideways.
A GMC Sierra, operated by Jason Gardiner, 43, of Grand Isle, was traveling toward Bulle in the opposite lane and ended up colliding with Bulle’s department vehicle as it slid into his path of travel.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene.
Police say there were no reported injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
