Driver charged with DUI, unlawful mischief after crash in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE — A driver is facing DUI charges after a two-vehicle crash in Cambridge on Sunday.

Police were dispatched to the area of 8409 Vermont Route 15, at around 4:45 p.m.

According to the report, Christopher Harper, 34, of Jeffersonville, and Jeremy Zeon, 38, of Fairfax were involved in the crash.

Police say Harper was traveling west on Route 15 when he lost control of his vehicle and collided with Zeon’s vehicle that was traveling east on Route 15.

While speaking with Harper, troopers observed several indicators of impairment.

He was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston Barracks for processing.

During processing, Harper is alleged to have intentionally damaged state-owned property inside the barracks.

He was issued a citation to appear at the Lamoille County Criminal Court to answer to the charges of DUI#2 and unlawful mischief.
