POWNAL — A 36-year-old woman from Bennington was arrested following an incident in Pownal yesterday.
Authorities were notified of an active fight between a woman and a man at a home on US Route 7 at around 7:35 p.m.
Police say that Wynetta Burdick caused bodily injury to a family or household member.
Burdick was arrested and processed at the Shaftsbury State Police barracks.
She was cited for domestic assault and interference with access to emergency services.
