RANDOLPH — A 56-year-old woman from Montpelier was arrested on multiple charges following an incident in Randolph yesterday.
Authorities were notified of a wrong-way driver on I-89 south at around 7:00 p.m.
Police say they spoke with the driver, identified as Diane Zeigler, 56, of Montpelier.
She was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI, gross negligent operation, and reckless endangerment.
Zeigler was transported to the State Police barracks in Middlesex for processing.
She was taken to Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility for detox and issued a citation to appear in court on January 12.
