Rollover crash in Montpelier

MONTPELIER — Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on State Street in Montpelier on Saturday, December 18.

The vehicle came to an uncontrolled rest on its passenger side at around 6:35 p.m.

Police say the car was traveling east on State Street in the area of Green Mount Cemetery when the driver lost control on the slippery roadway.

It was dark and snowing heavily at the time of the crash.

The vehicle slid over the curb and into an embankment, causing it to roll.

The vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage.

All occupants were uninjured, had been wearing seatbelts, and police say the driver was not under the influence.
