DERBY — Community National Bank CEO Kathy Austin recently announced Carol Martin will serve as a Director of the Community National Bank and Community Bancorp. Boards.
Martin’s appointment to the Boards is effective as of January 1, 2022.
Martin is Vice President Finance US & Head of Group Accounting & Reporting for Weidmann Electrical Technology, Inc. in St. Johnsbury.
Martin has been working with Weidmann in various finance positions since 1993.
She is responsible for the Group consolidation of the financial reports for Weidmann Holding AG and affiliated corporations located throughout the globe with International Financial Reporting Standards.
She is also responsible for overseeing the finance organizations of the Weidmann affiliated corporations within the US, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada.
“Carol has served on Community National Bank’s Advisory Council since its inception in early 2018, and we are looking forward to working with her in her new role as Director,” Kathy Austin said.
Martin lends her time and talents to serve many nonprofit organizations.
She is the Treasurer of WE Care Inc. a Weidmann employee association providing financial assistance to employees experiencing hardships, a board member of the Echo Lake Protective Association, Secretary of the Board for the St. Paul School Foundation, and a member of the Vermont Community Foundation.
A longtime resident of Orleans County, Martin makes her home in Barton with her husband Jesse Coe.
