Police: Threat made at Williamstown Middle and High School

WILLIAMSTOWN — Police say they are investigating a threat made against a local school yesterday.

Authorities were notified of an alleged threat made to the Williamstown Middle & High School on Hebert Road at around 3:00 p.m.

State police initiated an investigation in coordination with school officials.

At the time of the report to state police, normal school operations had concluded.

Police say no one has been arrested, and there are currently no criminal charges.

An increased police presence may be seen in the area of the school, police say.

Police are still investigating this incident, and no further information is available.
