Woman cited for furnishing alcohol to minors in Randolph

RANDOLPH — A 40-year-old woman was cited for furnishing alcohol to minors in Randolph last Saturday.

Authorities were notified that an individual was attempting to purchase alcohol for minors on Vermont Route 66 at around 11:30 p.m.

The individual was refused a purchase at a convenience store in the village.

Police say the individual attempted a second time to purchase alcohol for the minors at a second convenience store in Randolph.

A Deputy witnessed the exchange in a parking lot.

Police say Katie Ford was cited for furnishing alcohol to minors and was released on a citation.

The two minors in question were referred to the alcohol safety program.
