NORTHFIELD — A 32-year-old woman was arrested on multiple charges following a hit-and-run that left a man seriously injured in November.

Guy Martin was loading a vehicle onto a flatbed wrecker that was displaying its emergency lights.

Martin sustained serious injuries and the driver failed to stop and render aid, or report the incident to the police.

In early December, an anonymous tip lead the Northfield Police Department to Moriah, New York.

Police say they found a Black Volkswagen Tiguan matching the description of the vehicle that struck Guy Martin.

The vehicle had damage consistent with the crash and the vehicle was hidden in a garage.

New York State Police and Northfield PD worked to seize the vehicle for further investigation with forensic analysis.

Police say the vehicle was owned by Mayumi Wagstaff Blaise, of Northfield.

Blaise was cited to appear in court to face charges of careless and negligent operation with serious injury and leaving the scene of an accident with serious injury.
