Woman arrested in connection to car break-ins in Fair Haven

FAIR HAVEN — A 35-year-old woman was arrested for petit larceny following an incident in Fair Haven last week.

On December 7, police say they arrested Jasmine M. Pinsonault following an ongoing investigation into a series of car break-ins.

In late October 2021, police began investigating a number of similar incidents in Fair Haven.

Following an investigation, police say that Pinsonault had allegedly obtained stolen checks that were reported to have been taken during this series of thefts.

Pinsonault allegedly deposited the checks fraudulently and then withdrew funds for her personal use.

Police also found that Pinsonault had taken a stroller from another residence without permission.

Police recovered the stroller.

According to the report, Pinsonault admitted to her involvement.

She was arrested and issued a citation to appear in court to answer to charges.
