Two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Grafton

GRAFTON — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Grafton on Thursday.

The crash took place on Townshend Road at around 7:50 a.m.

According to the report, the school bus, driven by Charles Hutchison, 70, of Putney, was headed north before the crash.

Chris Vanacore, 39, of Rockingham, was headed south in a box truck when the driver’s side mirror of Hutchison was over the center line and struck the driver’s side mirror of his vehicle.

The driver’s side mirrors of both vehicles were shattered from the collision, as well as the driver’s side window of the box truck.

Police say Vanacore sustained minor injuries from the glass shrapnel.
