GEORGIA — A 50-year-old man from Milton was arrested for DUI following an incident in Georgia on Friday.
Authorities were notified that a man was at a gas station screaming, beating his chest, and causing a disturbance at around 7:10 p.m.
Police identified the man as Lawrence Alers, who they say was still causing the disturbance when they arrived.
Following an investigation, police identified indicators of impairment and allege that Alers had operated a motor vehicle on a public highway.
He was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI drugs.
