FRANKLIN — A juvenile was killed during an ATV crash in Franklin this evening.
The crash took place on Messier Road, near the intersection of Barnum Road, at around 5:20 p.m.
Messier Road is a class 4 road that is not maintained.
Trooper Seth Boudreau said that the juvenile was operating a 2007 Honda while traveling south, before losing control of the ATV and crashing into a tree.
The crash ultimately resulted in the death of the juvenile.
Both Missisquoi Valley Rescue and Franklin Rescue responded to the crash scene.
