MONDAY 11-29-21

  • Conducted Patrols in 6 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.

  • Conducted Patrols in 6 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Tuesday is our fingerprinting day! If you need your fingerprints taken for any purpose, please call our office at (802) 388-2981 for further details and to schedule an appointment.
  • Public Assist – Middlebury – The Addison County Solid Waste Management District contacted our office after a vehicle drove off without paying for services at the Transfer Station. The individual was identified and contacted about making payment to the ACSWMD.
    WEDNESDAY 12-01-21
  • Conducted Patrols in 6 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Violation of Conditions of Release – Middlebury – An individual contacted our office after they recognized someone who they knew to be in violation of their court ordered conditions. An investigation showed that this individual was in violation of their conditions of release and they were cited to appear in court.
  • Missing Person – Ferrisburgh – Assisted the Vermont State Police in searching for a missing person with dementia that had wandered away. The person was located safely shortly after.
  • Ride Along – A community member participated in a ride along with one of the deputies. If you are interested in experiencing a ride along, please call our office to set up a time to do so.
    THURSDAY 12-02-21
  • Conducted Patrols in 4 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Community Outreach – Middlebury – Provided space for a supervised visit for Women Safe.
  • Arrest Warrant – Colchester – Took an individual into custody based on a warrant for their arrest. They were transported to jail due to lack of bail.
  • Arrest Warrant – Enosburg – Took an individual into custody based on a warrant for their arrest. They were transported to jail due to lack of bail.
  • Overweight Violation – Monkton – While on patrol on Bristol Rd, the Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement deputy observed a tractor trailer operating on a weight restricted road. The TT unit was stopped and did not have a permit to be operating on that road. The vehicle was weighed, and it was 15,000 lbs overweight. A ticket was issued for the violation.
  • Overweight Violation – Ferrisburgh – While on patrol on Monkton Rd, the Commercial Motor Vehicle Enforcement deputy observed a tractor trailer operating on a weight restricted road.     FRIDAY 12-03-21
  • Conducted Patrols in 5 towns. Traffic stops were conducted for motor vehicle violations with warnings and/ or tickets issued.
  • Community Outreach – Middlebury – Provided space for a supervised visit for Women Safe.
  • Child Safety Seat Inspections – Middlebury – Completed 2 Child Protective Seat safety inspections for families that wanted to make sure the seat was installed safely. If you would like to have your car seat inspected to make sure it’s installed properly, please call our office to schedule an appointment.
    Saturday 12-04-21
  • Welfare Check – Ripton – A caller was concerned about the welfare of an individual at their residence in Ripton. Deputies checked the welfare of this person, and they were found to be ok.
