BENSON — Police responded to a single-vehicle crash in Benson this afternoon.
The incident took place in the area of Vermont Route 22A and Vermont Route 144.
Police say Antonio Monero-Segura, 44, of Newark, New Jersey, was headed north on vermont Route 22A when he lost control of the vehicle.
He exited the east side of the roadway striking a utility pole and a fence at G&L General Store.
The Vermont State Police were assisted on scene by Benson Fire Department and Green Mountain Power.
There were no injuries reported, police say.
