RUTLAND — A 44-year-old man from Mendon was arrested following an incident in Rutland yesterday.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop on US Route 4 at around 1:40 a.m.
According to the report, the driver, identified as Bernard Tanner, had been driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license.
Tanner was taken into custody and transported to the State police barracks for processing.
During processing, it was determined Tanner had an active arrest warrant.
He was lodged at the Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility on the warrant and issued a citation to appear in court at a later date and time for the DUI #3.
