IRA — A 40-year-old man from New York was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Ira yesterday.
The crash took place on Interstate 4 east at around 4:50 a.m.
The tractor-trailer unit was overturned off of the shoulder of the eastbound passing lane.
Damage to the truck was extensive, as was damage to a guardrail in the area.
The driver was identified as Jean W. Florvilus, of Latham, NY.
Police say Florvilus indicated that he may have fallen asleep while headed to New Hampshire.
