Two-vehicle crash on US Route 7, Clarendon

CLARENDON — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Clarendon on November 16.

The crash took place on US 7, at the intersection of Vermont Route 7B, at around 4:50 p.m.

Police identified the drivers as Michele Christian, 59, of Orwell, and Strew Nikalsson, 52, of Mt. Holly.

According to the report, Nikalsson was headed south on US 7 and struck Christian who was attempting to cross US Route 7 south from Vermont Route 7B.

Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the collision.

Police say nobody was injured, however, Christian was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for precautionary reasons.

State police were assisted on scene by Clarendon Fire Department, Regional Ambulance Service, Carara’s Towing, Turk’s Auto, and the Rutland Town Police Department.
