RUTLAND — Police are investigating an assault and robbery that took place in Rutland City on Saturday,
The Rutland City Police Department responded to the incident at the Jolly Mart on Grove Street at around 5:30 p.m.
The police have identified two potential witnesses that were at the store at the time of the crime and left prior to the police arriving.
Police are requesting those two individuals contact the Rutland City Police Department and speak with Detective Sergeant Whitehead.
They are also asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Rutland City Police Department at 802-773-1816.
