MILTON — A 39-year-old man from Stowe was arrested following an incident in Milton early this morning.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop after observing a vehicle traveling 96 miles-per-hour in a posted 65 miles-per-hour zone on Interstate 89 at around 1:00 a.m.
Police say they made contact with the driver who was identified as Marvin Leggett.
Leggett was found to be operating a motor vehicle with a criminally suspended license.
While speaking with Leggett, police allege they observed signs of impairment.
He was arrested for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation for DUI #2, criminal DLS, and is scheduled to appear in court on December 7.
