Driver hurt after hitting tractor in Addison

ADDISON — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Addison on Monday.

Authorities were notified that a car struck a tractor on Vermont Route 22A, near the intersection with Whitford Road, at around 6:55 p.m.

A section of Vermont Route 22A was closed to traffic while the crash was investigated and the vehicles were removed.

The driver of the car was identified as Jason Marshall, 28, of Waltham. 

According to the report, Marshall was headed north while the tractor was ahead of him. 

He hit the farming equipment being towed by the tractor causing extensive damage to Marshall’s vehicle. 

Police say the driver of the tractor was uninjured, and that Marshall was transported to the hospital.
