WALDEN — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Walden yesterday.
The crash took place at the intersection of VT Route 15, Maple Lane, and Noyestar Road at around 9:05 p.m.
According to the report, Keith A. Greaves, 16, of Walden, was headed east on Vermont Route 15 at a higher rate of speed then the posted speed limit.
Sawyer F. Castle, 17, of East Hardwick, was headed west attempting to turn onto Noyestar Road.
Police say Greaves failed to yield to oncoming traffic before attempting to turn onto Maple Lane.
As a result, Greaves hit Castle’s vehicle causing severe front end damage to the vehicle.
Police say Greaves traveled onto Maple Lane, and came to an uncontrolled rest off of the road.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene due to disabling damage.
