DERBY — Community National Bank recently held a successful blood drive with 50 donors providing 51 pints.
The annual drive took place at the Elks Lodge in Derby on Tuesday, October 5.
Based on information shared by the Red Cross, each pint can save up to three lives.
The bank released a statement thanking all the volunteers and donors for coming together to save 153 lives during their annual blood drive.
Each day in the United States, 36,000 units of red blood cells are needed.
