CAMBRIDGE — A 33-year-old man from Waterville was involved in a single-vehicle crash with injuries in Cambridge on Monday.
Authorities were notified that a tow truck that had lost control and crashed into the embankment on Vermont Route 109 at around 3:55 p.m.
A 2005 International 430 flatbed tow truck was blocking both lanes of traffic at the scene.
The driver was identified as Evan Miller, who sustained minor injuries in the crash.
According to the report, Miller headed north when he attempted to navigate the left hand corner.
At the time of the crash, it was raining and the roads were wet.
Police say no other vehicles were involved.
Notch Road Auto and Clark’s Truck Center were dispatched to open a lane of traffic and remove the disabled vehicle from the road.
The road was shut down for approximately 45 minutes.
