Driver arrested in Windham after passing sheriff’s cruiser doing 99 mph

WINDHAM — A 29-year-old man from New Hampshire was arrested for excessive speeding following an incident in Windham on Thursday. 

The Windham County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kkyle Wyrick, of Claremont, NH, after he passed a marked sheriff’s vehicle from behind at 99 miles-per-hour in the posted 65 mile-per-hour speed zone. 

Wyrick was released on a citation to appear in court at a later date. 

He was also issued a traffic ticket for the civil speeding violation which includes a potential penalty of $517 and 2 points on his privilege to operate in the State of Vermont.
