Swanton resident killed during single-vehicle crash

GEORGIA — A 55-year-old man from Swanton died following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Georgia yesterday.

The crash took place on Interstate 89 south at around 6:10 a.m.

A white GMC Sierra was seen off the east side of the road, with the rear the vehicle on top of the guardrail.  

Police say a passenger was thrown from the vehicle and was transported to UVM Medical Center.  

The driver, identified as Scott A. Campbell, was entrapped in the vehicle.

Campbell was pronounced deceased on scene.
