Two injured during single-vehicle crash in Cabot

CABOT — A 57-year-old woman was involved in a single-vehicle crash with injuries in Cabot yesterday.

The crash took place on South Walden Road.

According to the report, the vehicle was headed south when it traveled off the edge of the road and crashed into a tree. 

Both the driver, identified as Shelley Corliss, of Cabot,  and passenger, Matthew Thompson, 33, of Cabot, were transported to the hospital.

Thompson was airlifted to the University of Vermont Medical Center, and Corliss was transported by ambulance to Central Vermont Medical Center. 

Police say at this time both occupants are in stable condition.
