MIDDLESEX — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Middlesex yesterday.
The crash took place on Interstate 89 at around 2:50 p.m.
According to the report, the driver was a 16-year-old from Meredith, NH, who was headed south and left the road after falling asleep.
The young driver then crossed through the grass median and hit a tractor-trailer unit driven by Jean Deblois, 56, of Farnham, Quebec, headed north in the travel lane.
As a result of the collision, the young driver’s vehicle suffered total front end damage.
The teen was transported by EMS to the hospital for minor injuries.
