FAIRFIELD — Police say two men were cited following an incident in Fairfield on Saturday.
The assault took place on Pond Road near Fairfield Pond at around 12:45 a.m.
An 18-year-old from Enosburg told police that he was stopped in the middle of the road and pulled from his truck.
Police say he was assaulted by Silas White, 18, of Sheldon, and Kole Ovitt, 20, of Fairfield.
According to the report, the parties knew each other.
Following an investigation, police say that White had also been stalking Bourdeau months prior leading up to the assault.
Police say White was issued citations to appear in court on July 26 for simple assault and stalking and Ovitt was cited for simple assault on the same date.
